I think a lot of people are losing the will at the moment Tricky,a very low level of entertainment, some of the poorest football played by Stour in many years.
Sad really and little reason for optimism.

I saw all this coming well over a year ago. Last year's cup run just papered over the cracks. Team full of players who just don't give a shit. The club has lost it's heart and soul. No togetherness, no bonding. Do these players who we have at the moment actually speak? Do they interact and socialise? Can anybody imagine this lot going on an end of season piss up with the management and fans? No. They couldn't care less. Here for the money, no loyalty to the club or the town, everything non league football shouldn't be. I'd sooner be playing back in the Midland Alliance with the 150-180 regulars with a team full of Stourbridge lads. The club has lost it's core. I mentioned this previously in the Matlock thread. Players and characters were what made the club so special. Craig Slater, Lewis Solly, Rocky, Jamie Oliver, big Nath, Lloydy, James Dyson,Ross Collins, Ryan Rowe, Ryan Mahon, Sean Evans, Sean Geddes, Wurzel, the list goes on and on. Great people, played with pride and passion, all mixed and socialised with each other, the management, supporters. In reality, looking back, the cup runs were probably what has ruined the club. The general apathy around the place is evident. Even the characters off the pitch have all slowly disappeared. Simon Morris, the Beast, Alex,Matt,Bernard,Mike from the Mitre,Nick and Ollie Clarke,Me! Again the list goes on and on. Great people, great characters all alienated from the club in some way or another. We had great days, great laughs, watched some great football. It makes me so sad now to reflect on everything. I'll never forget the night at Kendal in the FA Trophy replay, we played pretty much a 4-2-4 that night, Sean Evans on left wing, Wurzel on the right, Rowey and John Griffin up front, best attacking football I've ever had the pleasure to watch. Put 6 past them, could have been 12. Don't think we will ever see those days again.

Trouble is with the website Jack is that it's the club's version of events, not necessarily the full gory details.
