Excellent team performance, not a weak link in sight
Had two good chances to take the lead before they took the lead with a penalty. We played good football and created a number of half chances while at the other end Lewis made some important saves. We deservedly equalised when Chris Lait scored from close range after great work from Matt Dodd
We started the second half strongly and could have taken the lead before Buxton scored with a deflected shot that flew over Lewis.
To our credit we kept coming forward and deservedly equalised.
Both were playing open attacking football and a quick break saw Hawley run clear only to be brought down in the area. He scored from the spot and we saw out the last ten minutes without too many scares to earn a well deserved win..

Great result today, very happy. Great three points.

We even managed to get the players there in plenty of time.

Glad to see Clive has changed his alarm clock to British Summer Time from Bangkok hours.

Was a good performance and maybe things are clicking into place but my only gripe was the bench was a bit lightweight to say the least, good job we did not get any injuries.

Would agree a really good team performance after going behind twice.

Lewis obviously kept us in the game with two fine saves in the first half and had no chance with the their second.

We kept trying battling away and never gave up and we deserved the victory in the end.

As Baz has said the only problem on Saturday was if we had got injuries or were behind and needed to change things around. The only option really was Junior.

If the Chairman and Manager are serious about making the play offs and taking the football club forward we need to strength the squad as soon as possible. I know it might be hard to attract players but surely it is about time we had five subs on the bench and five that does not include players who are probably not up to this standard of football yet. we got away with it Saturday, hopefully it won't happen again.

Good luck to the lads tonight against Barwell.
