No one else seems to be bothered but a bostin day out capped off with a really good solid all round performance.....What's all the fuss about?

Well said TT nobody saying one positive thing - what a surprise.

Can't wait for our next defeat to see all the moaners come out again on here.

Such a shame some quarters would love to see us fail so they can have a pop

I have just caught up with the goals from this game on You Tube.
Good goals and a great result, but can anyone explain why we were in our change strip against a Skelmersdale team who were in all blue ?

I thought the whole idea of a change strip was to avoid a colour clash with the home team, or am I just showing my age and ignorance !

I would always prefer to see Stour in the stripes when ever possible.

Kit choice probably governed by the practicalities of getting the home strip cleaned before Monday's game!

Possibly so, never thought of that ........but that would mean we only have one set of striped kit, and that surely can't be true.......can it ?

Barnsoneworth is correct. League rules state that if there's a clash, the away team changes, but it's the practicalities of getting it washed before the Monday. Same will happen this week at Buxton! We have got 2 home kits but are keeping those for monsoon days so the 2nd half is all dry!

Thanks for your reply Clive,
All clear now,
Plus it's nice to know these small, seemingly insignificant, details of running a football club.
