Live commentary is on 102.5FM The Bridge.

Although they did just significantly blot their copybook by describing tonight's game as an "FA Vase replay". Haven't played in the competition since the MFA days Embarassed

A decent performance and some nicely crafted goals.

Good performances from most players with Drew, the "Stourbridge Messi" once again motm for me and far better suited to his more central role of recent weeks.

Exodus and Bowerman also had a good night.

Still giving away stupid goals though,we do need to sort that out pronto.

An away tie against Kings Lynn is hardly much of a reward though Sad

Got the job done on the 2nd attempt. Another excellent performance by Drew. Ex already looks a top signing in my opinion. Doubt I will be at Kings Lynn. 1 trip is enough for me. Laughing Rolling Eyes

With seven players missing for different reasons and with several members playing out of position, last night's performance and result mustn't be underestimated against a spirited but limited Carlton team who never gave up trying. It underlines the strength of the squad Gary has been building. Well done to him and to the Board for supporting him. All he has to do now is to keep those who don't play happy !

Drew, again, caught the eye and bossed the midfield, quite apart from making two goals and scoring himself.

For the first time for me, Peter Till impressed and it was good to see Kyle again attacking with purpose, as did Chris, whose backheel to George to set up the first goal was classy.

Hope Paul's knock isn't too serious.

Well done to all the lads who played last night and provided good entertainment.

A decent performance last night with some very good goals, Bowerman's finish the pick of the bunch, Canavan was impressive again and Till had his best game so far.

The goals conceded where a bit soft again, we don't look like keeping many clean sheet at present, but with all the injuries/suspensions, we've dug in to get the results, 4 wins and a draw since Matlock is a good return all things considered.

Tough draw in the next round, wouldn't be surprised to see another Tuesday night replay with an 8.05 kick off time!

For the first time I was really impressed with Till - easily his best game yet.

Drew again had an excellent game, probably his 5th or 6th on the trot, getting close to his best form at Stour. This is really good to see for such a loyal player.

In fact our team has been in transition to the extent that I think not so long ago 6-7 of our team had made 100+ appearances for the club. Pretty sure it was only Drew in Tuesday's line-up.

Bowerman and Exodus continue to impress me. There were some really well-taken goals as well.

Shipped a couple of sloppy goals but overall, can't complain too much. A good evening's entertainment.
