We were unfortunate not to come away with a point after an excellent second half performance. We took a while to get going first half as we struggled to shake off the effects of a six hour journey and two 'Inbetweeners' films.

Unfortunately by the time we got into our stride we were Two goals down, the second of which looked to take a wicked deflection which wrong footed Matt. As the half ended we looked capable of getting back into the game but needed to up our tempo and stop giving the ball away to easily.

Second half we were the better team (and that comes from blyth supporters i spoke to) and both teams played good attacking football in an excellent game of foootball , with both teams creating chances.
Luke scored with a great trade mark curling low drive into the corner of the net.The last kick penalty save was unfortunate but should not detract from what was an great second half effort.

Connors Gated had a good debut when he came on as a second half sub and looks a useful addition to the squad.
