Unlikely i'll make the trip as i'm off to Wales the next day.

I wonder if news on their ground grading will received by Thursday night?

I suspect it's too much to hope for that Banbury can get a surprise result at Poole on Tuesday night considering how poor they are at the moment.

Well done to all of those making such an horrendous midweek trip for a match that has the feel of being the most pivotal one of our "regular season",i hope we treat it as a "Cup Final" and come out with the required win.

Really fancy us to get a result Thursday, we're starting to click just at the right time. There is no way at all 3 games in 6 days will not have an affect on them and with the new signings I'm confident we'll have too much for them.

This is why I would have loved the game to be in the Easter holidays - would have been there in a flash. As it happens I just can't get out of work in time - or Jack college for that matter.
Heres to 3 points though.

Updates on twitter as usual - @SFCOfficial.

All tweets from the club twitter account also appear on the SFC website home page, in case anybody wasn't aware. Scroll down and it's on the right hand side of the page

For those going to Poole, admission will be £5 for all, and free for under 16s. Announced by Poole tonight.

For those not going, there will be live commentary on the game on "Hot Radio", which sounds like something out of the Dukes of Hazzard!

A gut wrenching evening,i even turned off my phone to avoid news and just switched on to get the full time score.

I'm as elated as if Albion had won!

Fantastic result lad's,well done and also well done to the hardy soul's who travelled.

By no means the prettiest nor the best football I've seen from Stour but my God we deserved this win.
We dug deep, especially second half and made Poole look very ordinary indeed.
Really good banter from roughly thirty stour fans who made the journey and the second half flew by.

Just got home and extreme gratitude to TRM who gave me a lift there and back.

Who knows, after tonight we "might" make the playoffs after all. Very Happy

East there Tricky, don't get carried away.

Glad the journey was worthwhile for you and the rest of the "hardcore".

I've got a really good feeling about the end of this season.

Think it will go down to the last day myself. All we can ask for is that we go down to Hitchin with something to play for and hopefully with a large away following-Please price coaches suitably Stour!-we can get a positive result.

Thought they shaded the first half but apart from one goal line clearance nothing really on target. However we did have chances and perhaps with a bit more control we could have scored. They certainly moved the ball quicker than us and seem to control the midfield even though we had five in their.

Second half we played much better and apart from so.e sloppy defending for their goal we didn't give much away. We seemed to want it more second half and certain players looked totally different.

Can't take nothing away we deserved the win so well done to the players and management and this keeps the season alive.

One last thing the support was brilliant as it was at Hemel. Agree with Jack hope the club do look at the price of the coach but not just the Hitchin why not the Chesham. The last four games we need as much support as we can.

Really think the club should be doing all they can do get serious numbers to both Cehesh and Hitchin. We have enough money in the bank to take a hit if it means having an extra 100/150 fans there. How about a Buy one get on free? Go to Chesh on coach and get Hitchin free. Whatever they do, its crucial its advertised at how big each game is now. We need as many people at the Totton and Banbury game as possible.

I agree Jack.

I'm going to have a chat with Andy P next week about these last few games.

I'd like to think we can do coach seats for no more than a fiver to the last two away games,if Chesham and Hitchin could do admission for a fiver as well they could see bumper gates.

I believe the Totton home match is a "community day" and that entry is just £5 so if the weather is okay then the crowd should be excellent although i think the club need to make a better effort to entertain the kid's that turn up,last year's effort was pathetic.

With good weather and entertainment i reckon we could get 700-1000 for that match and similarly if we get the formula right for Banbury on Easter Monday we could get the same sort of figure if the weather is good.

Maybe a voucher could be given out if you attend the Totton match and pay £5 entry that allows you a £5 entry to the Banbury match as well.

I'm a big believer in maximising support at the slight reduction of gate receipts when something such as promotion is possible.

A couple of blogs on the ga, the first by a Stour supporter, the second by a Poole supporter. Both fair reflections of the game...
