Bashley on Tuesday night

I only have a "horrible feeling" based on 30-plus years of watching football and knowing that somebody's got to lose down there sooner or later and sod's law says it'll be us!

Everything else points to a win, although the possibility of players being unavailable and the pitch being a mudbath may come into it...

If anyone here's any early team news a post on here would be greatly appreciated.

No Bennett,Oliver or Broadhurst.

Match is on but at least one area of the pitch heavily sanded. Reports from team coach they have passed Worcester and it is raining already.

From DA's team news I hope it keeps on raining!!!

Yesterday i was joking about Kenny Guest and Eric playing……..now i'm getting worried.

Baz has gone in his replica kit so we at least have one for the bench.

Joking apart,IF it is true that we've travelled with 10 plus Fordy or even 11 plus Fordy,questions need to be asked.

If we have the slightest pretentions to getting promoted and competing in Conference North then these sort of scenarios cannot continue.

It begs the question as to why Wurzel has not been recalled if we are down to the bare bones.

I hope i'm wrong and that some are travelling down in their own cars.

Raining steadily in east Dorset now. Just about to rush off from work so hoping that it'll still be on when I get there. Only other alternative is a pub crawl in New Milton which doesn't fill me with joy as there's only 2 and they're both dire.
But maybe another Chippenham could be about to happen? Who knows? Up the Stour.

Even with those three missing we should still be able to field a decent team with a couple of subs. For example (not saying this would be line-up)...

Wouldn't surprise me if one or two have travelled by car. Couldn't get away from work early enough, that sort of stuff. We shall see.

Must admit, it hadn't occurred to me that the Youth Team played last night and play again tomorrow so a bit much expecting Tye to be involved!

Just back,reason missed some players getting on the coach is their is a side door in the posh Prospect coach! Was drizzling when got down there and pitch looked ok but after the heavy rain started in 2nd half,pitch got worse and if had started an hour earlier would of been off! The match itself,we started brightly and should of been 3 up at half time,then they get a penalty and we think here comes the wobble but we woke up again to secure the match,did not seem any injuries so touch wood will have full strength team for saturday,minus Luke?
