''If you don't take your chances, you don't deserve to win''. Last night was the perfect example when, really, Stafford should have been out of sight at halftime. Our defence in the first half was all at sea and it was only halfway through the second period that we began to get on top.

Being positive, that speaks volumes for our fighting spirit, epitomised by Tom and Leon.

With Stuart suffering with a hamstring problem, Chris should be moved into his best position of central defence, with either Josh of Kieran, being natural full backs, taking over the left back role.

Matt's handing in greasy conditions was first class and he deserved his clean sheet.

Jordan, particularly in the first half, was the best player on the pitch, skilfully and calmly taking his goal.

Another healthy crowd was in good form, particularly in the second half, when one of their players took three or four attempts at taking a free kick, visibly losing confidence with the crowd getting on his back. Hilarious !

Summarising, perhaps playing on a Monday night went against us with Saturday being a very tiring and long day and with Stafford being local and not having to travel two or three hours. But a very welcome three points. Well done, lads
