Thanks to all who took part.

Even though the first half was very one-sided, a one goal lead was never enough to put us in the comfort zone.

Predictably, Tividale came more into the game after the interval but I can only remember one instance when our goal was under serious threat.

It was a good all-round team performance, spoilt by our inability to convert chances into goals, thanks to the woodwork on two occasions and good goalkeeping.

Our two seasoned ex-pros up front look that they could work well together with Justin showing, shall we say, a lively personality !

Having a rare opportunity to visit an away ground made me realise and appreciate all of the considerable improvements that have taken place at The War Memorial and just how much difference there is between Ground Grades C and D.

Could and should of been a bigger win,but guess a win is a win! Good to see a healthy Stour following.
