Starting it early, and will sticky this so for any signings made and discussions could we use this thread ladies and Gents? Cheers.

I see Rowey has been released by Kiddy (Contract expired) no doubt he'll get contract offers from higher up, but must be worth atleast trying to sign, surely? He's done well at Brackley by all accounts.

Brackley are not interested in signing him from what i've been told.

Is it any coincidence he turned up at Chesham the other night?

Worth having in our squad but only on the right money for the club and in line with what our other best player's are on in my opinion.

It does seem an awfully long way to drive just to watch us. Also worth noting he looked in the best shape he has in a while. I do think he can cut it at a higher level but I'd happily have him back. For the right money, of course.

Any news on new players yet?

I really do hope we're not on a 6-8 week holiday and that next season's target's are already getting nailed down?

Id guess we need to know what league we are in before we can step up the search for new players. Hopefully after tomorrow the wheels will be set in motion.

What areas do we think needs new blood? Or just the team in genera?

I'd love if we really made a serious effort to sign Haseley from up the road. Would be a hard deal to pull off, but we have the money...

He's been asked twice and can't even be bothered to get back to us to discuss properly so i gather.

Ran away from Solihull last pre season,"bottled" it by all accounts.

I think we can do better tbh.

Yep, we need a proven Step 3 goal scorer not a Step 4 one, if possible.

With regards Haseley he's looked good in the handful of games i've seen in the last two seasons but some of the teams I saw down the grove would struggle in the Midland Alliance, the SLP defences will be much tougher, so interesting to see how he fairs at this level. I don't think we should go for him, in any case couldn't see him moving from Halesowen to Stourbridge.

Im hearing AP has signed for another delivery of fencing from Travis Perkins.

Surprised Luke isn't on contract. Then again, I also imagine he's one of the highest paid players anyway, and generally if fit plays so it doesn't make a difference. Would be nice to have a security blanket though.

Good news about Browny as well came on leaps and bounds towards the end of last year and excellent news about Harris. Top top player.

Benbow won't sign contract's as it restrict's his ability to leave if he get's a better offer from another club.

By the way, I'm not using the word "signed" because until the League constitutions are rubber-stamped at the various AGMs the SL don't send out registration forms. So any club that says players have "signed" already is wrong - unless they're on contract, of course (but they still won't be registered with the League yet).

Surprised to see Coleman retained.

Had heard rumours KRD was departing to the USA so that rumour was obviously wrong.

Happy with all of those. Evolution not revolution.

Halesowen tweeting that Joel Kettle has agreed to sign for them.

Never got much of a chance for us - I think I only saw him as a sub at Poole. Not sure if he played in any other games I didn't see.

Realise as TRM has pointed out that we can't sign anybody until after the relevant AGM's but surely we should be looking for players to commit to Stourbridge.

I know there is about 9 players from last season already committed.

Is there any player from last season definitely not committing besides Kettle.

Other teams seem to be saying players will commit but we don't.

Hopefully it is not going to be the same as last seasons pre season where I don't think we knew what we wanted and who.

Leon, Drew, Fitz and George all now committed for next season.

Sam Tye and Josh Morgan-Parker also signing from the Youth Team.

And we're signing Alex Dallison, young defender released by Walsall.
