Hi, just wondered if anyone making their own way to belper next Tuesday have spaces for jack and I. We both have busy days the next day so a quicker journey home than the coach would be appreciated. Obviously we - well I - would contribute to petrol costs.

We are both at the game tonight so if anyone could help I can see you tonight. Cheers in advance. :-)

Many going?

Looking forward to ticking off another new ground. Time to regroup and get some points on the board.

Slight discrepancy between my source and the official Twitter - the latter says Brown got the goal

Good win. Just the mystery of the first goal to sort out. Can anyone who was there clarify?

They weren't upto much however we were still very good. Controlled the game throughout. The midfield 3 of Will, Jordan & Drew was very effective. Macca and Dickson were solid and Andre & Kyle did well. Coleman has been overall very good recently and he made 3 or 4 very good saves. Hales and Browny also ran their socks off.

Overall a very good, solid performance and a much needed win.

Devil's Advocate

After witnessing one of my worst ever football Saturday's last weekend with what happened to Ben i must admit my spirit's were not a lot higher after a rather tedious journey to Belper and then arrival at their rather bleak and windswept ground.

I'm pleased to say that the team raised everyone's spirit's though with a performance full of energy and purpose, not a bad performance in sight and a credit to everyone involved including the management for getting everyone into that frame of mind.

I gave my man of the match to Drew,an excellent effort from him crowned with an absolute peach of a goal, the "Stourbridge Messi" with a finish like that!

Special mention also to Dean Coleman,a superb triple save in the first half and a top notch save at the start of the second half and faultless handling throughout.

Well done to the players for their performance last night, after a few tough days, all the players did well but were a few players that stood out,Drew and Dean, thanks again to DA for the lift and the travelling army, funny ground is Belper, one side modern other like the inside of a prison!
