Baz texted me to say M6 Dave will be delighted with this draw,no doubt a new ground for him Laughing

Hopefully one we can win although a team from this division did beat Hereford United on Saturday.

A game we should be winning with relative ease!

Don't think I've got a way of getting there, so a lift would be grateful if possible! Laughing Laughing Laughing Very Happy

Went there with Causeway last season in the Vase and they won fairly comfortably.
The ground is set in a youth club, fairly basic, could get a bit hostile if a lot of locals come out.
Tight pitch but Stourbridge should win as Blaby aren't exactly setting a league three divisions below alight.

Has it got a clubhouse? If not how far is the nearest pub?

We couln't have asked for much more than that really, from what i've read the Tipton side they beat was a very youthful one. Away day at a place i'd never heard of? the essence of the FA cup! let's hope there's not a giantkilling. Treat them with respect and do a professional job and there shouldn't be any problems (famous last words!).

If anyone's going by public transport as I probably will be, it's train to leicester and the 84 Arriva bus which is every 20 minutes to Whetstone.

Ha ha. Quite right. I'll be honest, when I was looking at the results on Sunday, I picked this one as the one I wanted and bingo!

Then again, I had planned to see their league game against Kimberley on the 23rd, which I obviously won't be now!

(Actually, I nearly went there in April but on the night went half a mile up the road to Saffron Dynamo instead. Now looking a good decision!)

Don't forget that Leicester's got 2 bus stations, and the 84 goes from the Smaller one called "St Margaret's".  The easiest way to get to it from the railway station is turn right out of the station and go straight under the subway into the town, then walk straight down Granby St along Gallowtree Gate into Church Gate.  Then straight on until you come to Gravel street on the right and the bus station is down there.

It's the same one we used to use back in our alliance days to get to Coalville.  Hope that helps Wink

And I've just been informed by our resident 70's porn star that according to Nigel there is a club house at the ground, and the nearest pub is 3mins walk from the ground called the "Kaffir Inn" drunken

Yes there is a small bar. It is quite a big complex but a lot of that is down to there being a youth club and community centre there.
There are two pitches adjacent to each other with the team Stourbridge are playing enjoying some cover as I remember but very basic, a bit like Cradley Town it reminded me of.
