Plymouth aside what is the biggest away following we have taken over the years? So far 72 have booked on to the coaches for Workington, so I'm guessing there will be at least 130 of us, if not more, in Cumbria on Saturday.

I for one cannot wait.

I would guess Frome away at the end of 2011/12 when we were chasing a play-off spot. Estimates varied but it must have been about 200.

For a *normal* game we took large numbers to Banbury in Feb 2 years ago. Must have been pushing a hundred.

I can remember a large following at Kiddie for the Worcs Senior Cup Final around 1981 when we won with a Brendan Drummond goal.

Slightly embarrassing memories for me,i was leading the chant of "You'll get a boot wrapped round your head, boot wrapped round your head" to the tune of the gap band's "Oops upside your head" and was escorted around the ground by the local plod!

I was let off with a warning after promising not to behave badly again.

We also took a good number to Kiddie for the Worcs final pre season the season before this one.

Good call Jack. What a shocking performance that day on the pitch.

Yes,the crowd was given as 500 odd that day and it didn't appear that there was that many home fans. Judging by the attendance figure given,I would estimate we had in excess of 200. Still have nightmares now about Leon's chance in the dying seconds.

Yeah, that was the first time I've seen Stour fans properly question the players and management. It was utterly woeful.

Maybe that's a chant we could bring back on Saturday being as we are looking for new material? You can start it off DA!

There was a very good following at Buxton, more than at Frome.

Talking of away followings, at a run of the mill league match at Swindon Supermarine a few years ago,for some reason both Brian Handy and myself both decided that evening to make a list of every Stour fan who had been present. Neither of us had talked about doing this,I've never done it since. Quite spooky really! Anyway,we both came up with the same number. 56. Isn't it wonderful and a perfect example of what makes our club so special that we could do this and actually know by name every one of us there!

Buxton in the FA cup was brilliant!! Loved it so much. I was interviewed by the paper and he asked 'is this the best / most important game you can remember' to which I answered 'well its good but Leamo in the play off was better' To which the reported looked horrified and said ' for this article could you just say 'yes'! Happy days. Enjoyed it the next week in the trophy too! Very Happy

'You only sing when you're fishing" should be aimed at their lot.

I was going to advocate that we all take an inflatable item with us on Saturday until i broke into a cold sweat at what you might turn up with Nathan.

That Banbury game was a shocker but I had lots of beer so it numbed the pain somewhat.
